Checklist of the accepted forms of ID for White Card course NSW
100 points of identity documents (ID) are applied for White Card course NSW for general admission.
ID requirements may vary depending on special circumstances:
- If you are an overseas person recently arrived in Australia less than 6 weeks
- If you are a school student
- If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
Please check below what documents are acceptable in your case.
GENERAL ADMISSION
You must bring and show at least 100 points of ID on the day of your course.
The trainer will need to see the following details of the student collectively on their document’s:
– Full Name
– Photo
– Residential Address
– Date of Birth
– Signature
Primary documents (only one of the next three documents can be used)
NOTE: Only original documents are accepted. Photo/copies/screenshots are NOT acceptable.

| 70 points | Australian or international passport (current or expired within last two years, but not cancelled) |

Secondary documents worth 40 points (all documents must be valid/current)

Documents worth 25 points (all documents must be valid/current)
NOTE: only original official paper or PDF version or official organisational webpage with your account/bill are accepted. Photo/copies/screenshots and messages/emails are NOT acceptable.

*NOTE:
If you use a bank card and a bank statement, they MUST be from two different Australian banks If you use two bank statements, they MUST be from two different Australian banks.
If you use two bank cards, they MUST be from two different Australian banks.
A bank card from non-australian bank can be accepted ONLY if this bank has a branch in Australia. Check on the Internet if the bank has representation in Australia. If not, you cannot use this card as an ID document.

SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
1) If you are an overseas person recently arrived in Australia less than 6 weeks
You must bring and sight all two (2) of the documents listed below on the day of course:

| Current driver’s licence (Australian or overseas) | OR | Credit/Savings bank card (Australian or overseas) (must contain your name, signature and expiry date) |
2) If you are a school student
You must bring and sight a school student ID card or one of the documents listed below on the day of course:
| Australian Birth Certificate/card (minimum 14 years) issued by the Registrar of Births Deaths and Marriages |
| OR |
| Australian Citizenship Certificate |
| OR |
| Current Australian driver’s licence or learner driver’s licence |
| OR |
| International travel documents including a current passport or a passport which has expired within the last two years but has not been cancelled. |
| OR |
| A written statement on school letterhead confirming the student’s name and date of birth. |
3) If you are an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
You must bring and sight two (2) written statements signed by the following authorized referees on the day of course:
- Chairperson, secretary or CEO of an incorporated Indigenous organisation (including land councils, community councils, housing organisations etc)
- Community development employment projects coordinator
- School principal
- School counsellor
- Minister of religion
- Treating health professional or manager in Aboriginal medical services
- Centrelink staff, Centrelink agent or other government employee of at least five
Note: Two written statements must be on organisational/company letterhead verifying the person’s identification.
