Join the Live Training
Attend the live, trainer-led Zoom session and actively participate in the required training and assessment activities for General Construction Induction Training.
What the online course covers
The connected-delivery White Card course covers the required CPCWHS1001 training and assessment through live, real-time interaction with your trainer.
WHS Legislative Requirements
Understand key work health and safety legislative requirements, responsibilities and safe work practices relevant to construction work.
Construction Hazards and Risk Controls
Learn to identify common construction hazards, understand basic risk control measures, and correctly select and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
WHS Communication and Reporting
Understand workplace health and safety communication processes and how to identify and report hazards and other safety concerns.
Incident and Emergency Procedures
Learn the appropriate procedures for responding to workplace incidents and emergencies.
What You Will Need

100 points of Evidence of Identity (EOI)
Original identification documents must be available for verification in accordance with SafeWork NSW requirements. -
A Unique Student Identifier (USI)
A valid USI is required to complete your enrolment. -
Reliable Internet Connection
Use a computer, tablet or suitable device with a working camera and microphone. -
Access to Zoom
Zoom must be available on your device before the scheduled training session. -
Suitable Learning Environment
Attend from a suitable environment where you can participate in the training and assessment without interruption. -
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Have a hi-vis vest, shirt or jacket, hard hat, ear plugs or ear muffs, and safety glasses or goggles available for the practical assessment. -
LLND Assessment
Complete the required Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) assessment before commencing the course. -
Complete the Enrolment Form
Complete and submit the required enrolment form before commencing the course.

You will need a suitable device with a working camera and microphone, reliable internet connection, Zoom access, the required Evidence of Identity documents and specified PPE.
You will need a hi-vis vest, shirt or jacket, hard hat, ear plugs or ear muffs, and safety glasses or safety goggles for the practical assessment.
Knowledge and practical assessment activities are completed as part of the live trainer-led session. You must actively participate, remain visible as required and follow your trainer’s assessment instructions.
After successful completion of all training and assessment requirements, you will receive the applicable Statement of Training (SOT) while your White Card is processed in accordance with SafeWork NSW requirements.
