Course Description
The white card course equips individuals with the knowledge and awareness needed to understand health and safety regulations, ensuring they can work safely and prevent injuries or harm.
This training includes recognizing and verbally reporting common construction hazards, as well as effectively responding to potential incidents and emergencies. It also covers the proper selection and use of standard personal protective equipment (PPE) in construction work. We are leading provider of white card training across Sydney and Bankstown.
White card training is essential for the construction industry and its related fields. Every worker must complete this training to ensure both their safety and the safety of others on-site. Our white card training in Bankstown provides workers with a comprehensive understanding of occupational health and safety practices, risk management, and emergency response procedures. By completing this training, construction workers gain the critical knowledge and skills needed to minimize accidents, promote workplace safety, and adhere to legal requirements.
Entry Requirements
- Participants must be at least 14 years old.
- Complete the enrolment form and provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
- Successfully completed the Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital skills (LLND) test.
- Able to present 100 points of identification as mandated by SafeWork NSW.

Training Overview
- Legislation & Workplace Hazards: Gain an understanding of applicable laws and how to identify workplace hazards.
- Construction Operations: Engage in presentations and video sessions focused on construction safety practices.
- Practical Training: Participate in hands-on training to prepare for safe work in the construction industry. This includes risk management, the use of height safety equipment, fall prevention devices, and safe anchoring techniques for both permanent and temporary setups.

Pathways
Students who successfully complete this unit of competency will receive a Statement of Training (SOT), valid for 60 days from the date of issue. This SOT allows learners immediate access to any construction site. The final White Card will be mailed by SafeWork to the address provided during enrollment, and this process may take up to 60 days. Upon completion of this unit, possible employment opportunities include roles such as construction worker.
Students may also choose to pursue further studies in various training package courses across multiple industries after completing this unit of competency.
